Move and Groove, February 2021

Technology can be a friend,

and distance doesn't matter.

Vinita Kumar, Anoushka Kumar, Laveena Gole, and Sharmila Jog proved that having fun and doing good on hand in hand.

Our volunteer dance instructors had so much fun choreographing steps to famous Bollywood music and the participants got quite a work out and came back for more. The lively music and fast beats kept them going!

The 5 weeks of zoom sessions was a great way to support Family Connections and The North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club, both these deserving organizations help students with supplies, and tools for education.

Move and Be Moved,  October

We ran a successful 5-week virtual walk/run campaign to support Second Harvest Food Bank in California, and HAT Packs in Pennsylvania.

We were so happy to hear from the participants that they had fun! Our goal is to making active lifestyle fun!!

Laveena's Virtual Ganpati Puja

In our culture it is believed that service to mankind is service to God! Laveena has embraced that and came up with a wonderful way to celebrate one of the Hindu festivals, Ganesh Chathurthi. She arranged for two zoom meets to invite friends to still continue cherishing the memories, and asked friends and families for donations to support The Hunger Project!

Together, we raised over $1,450 for The Hunger Project!
